so i finally find my product key (dont ask)

anyhu i go to enter it and apparantley its invalid, i have checked it around 6 times now and it IS correct...so i then register my version of windows then restart my computer and NADA has happened its still says invalid product key, its annoying me, i have a tonne of work to do for my exams and i can as im locked out of most of the functions.

I have scoured every possible website to help me but nothing is working, i cant remove it as mine was pre-installed and i only want to do that as a last resort cos im not sure how to get it back.

does anyone and i mean anyone have any idea how they can help me...

Whats the point of open office when XP is in limited function mode?

I presume you used the product key that can be located usually on a sticker on the pc case (Side or back of case).

Or do you mean activation? If it wont activate ring the free phone number it supplies and they will give you one.
