Personally I was always a Gentoo fan. It was the first distro I ever used.

And for most friendly the award would have to go to Ubuntu. Very amazing how they exposed Linux to casual computer users.

I definiteley am a fan of Fedora, LinuxMint (like Ubuntu, only better), and fairly partial to Mandriva.

knoppix is awesome on the move.  i use it at school.  i only have a windows box functioning at home at the moment...

Ubuntu is nice, but I prefer Fedora or Mandriva.
