I use aMSN as I'm on a Mac. I've not really experienced any problems with it until I created a new addy. I added some of my old contacts, and they either accepted or added me anyway, but the problem is I don't show up on a few's contact list even though they've added me several times. This means I can talk to them but they can't talk back.
Any idea why this is or how I can fix it?
I have to go back on my old address to talk to them and I really don't want to keep using that.

I wanted to know how to fix it, rather than what other IM service to use =/

Try Adium. I think it's the best IM client for Mac OS X.
