| I like both, Vista may take longer to start up etc.. use more RAM etc.. butt it looks a lot nicer and the minimising and moving of windows etc and opening programs is a lot smoother and nicer etc. |

| Vista, and I prefer Vista. Honestly, if you use Vista on a good, new set of hardware, and you get it all configured nice, its really, really good. |

I always find Mac's to be all graphics and no balls
Then you have clearly not used it correctly or learned what real balls are.
I would have to agree with ManicD on this. Yes, we all know, BSD core, very powerful smart Unix stuff, wonderful, but the OS on top is so feature light and basic that it is just so frustrating for anyone with anyone wanting to do more than a basic set of tasks. If you think I'm wrong the please do explain what these balls are and how one is meant to use them. |

I have Vista, and so far I like it better than Xp. It kinda reminds me of some of the Mac operating systems.
I always find Mac's to be all graphics and no balls, Windows built the balls then added the graphics |

| Have both, Xp on lappie and vista on PC I work with computers and I wouldnt DREAM of putting vista in a business environment. But as a home PC its an excellent operating system. And to everyone who has objections with it, ask yourself, if your issues couldn't be solved with 4GB of RAM and a high end Duel core processor, if they can, then its yoru hardware thats the issue not the operating system. |

| I have Vista and it is considerably better than XP. I really never get why people say they like XP over it. I mean, someone, please explain what is better about XP. If you are going to talk about stability, i don't remember the last time Vista machine crashed, think it might be when i had a driver issue about a year ago. |
