I was unfortunate enough to purchase my iMac before Leopard was released with them.

Is it worth downloading a pirated copy from lets say piratebay and upgrading?

I can also buy it, but it is a bit pricey when it is possible to just download.

If you haven't any problems with Tiger I think you wouldn't want spend $129 for it. At least wait for Snow Leopard.

It is possible to do that, but you really shouldn't (besides it being illegal). Just buy a copy, it's not *that* expensive when compared to something like Vista, and it's definitely worth the money.

I just wanted to be sure the upgrade was worth it. For $129 USD what more do I get out of leopard when compared to Tiger or should I wait for Snow Leopard (even though the release is a few months out).
