| I run WinXP Pro. I also own Win2003 Serv. Ent. But, unlike some of you, I only have one computer :} In a little bit, my friend and I want to install some flavor of unix and apache on it and make a webserver we can play with. But he has yet to bring me his computer! |

| Well, Mandrake was the first but if I was going to describe any distro as 'for beginners' it would be mandrake. Once more was learnt about linux the time came to go one level up! Besides, playing with things is fun so some of those are used and others are just for play. I mainly use Mandrake because I used that for a fairly long time and all mine and my wifes files are in the Mandrake home partition. I'm just too lazy to file browse several partitions to get what I want. Another issue is that if I use something else I'm obviously not logged in as me on Mandrake which means a few of my files will be locked, and I don't want to change permissions because that can sometimes bring about a security hole depending on the situation. BTW has anyone seen any women on this forum? (besides me) it seems I'm outnumbered. |

120GB Between 12-15 partitions.. I could squeeze more on because I mainly use mandrake so the others don't need much space for files and downloads etc..Oh I forgot another one.. I also have angel linux, but im not sure if that counts because I built that myself.. |

| Mac OS X, v10.3.1.. I'll be moving back to 10.2.8, as it was a tad more solid. 10.3 is faster, but comes with a bug or two, which irritate me. I still use OS 9, for Virtual Game Station, to play old Playstation games....would have an OS X emulator...but Sony bought it out and crushed further development of the project |
