Have you installed the latest patch?
Yeah, like just a couple weeks ago. |

how long have you left the screen? cos sometimes when i first install an expansion pack it takes ages to load.. are u sure you havn't installed anything recently to do with the sims? like custom content or expansion packs etc
A good 10 minutes once until I finally took the disc out and restarted the computer. And no, nothing I haven't installed before that's worked fine. And the last time I installed a game was back in May. I really have no clue why it's happening either. I've had the sims games forever and this is the first time it's ever acted this way on me. IDK, hopefully I can get my games back from my sisters and reinstall it all which is what I wanted to do in the first place. |

did you download custom content and then from there it started doing that???? the most likly way to make it working again would be to re-install it
I installed the stuff a long while back, and it's only recently been acting up like this....and I would uninstall and reinstall it all now, but me and my two sisters who don't live with me share the games among us so I don't have them all right now (not event he first one).
wow that sucks.. hmm well if you downloaded them a while ago i don't see why it's doing that.. i don't know of a virus or anything which would stop the sims2 from working.. ermm i don't know what to suggest really except reinstall... how long have you left the screen? cos sometimes when i first install an expansion pack it takes ages to load.. are u sure you havn't installed anything recently to do with the sims? like custom content or expansion packs etc |

| I think eventually The Sims just becomes too much for any computer to handle. |

| When i put downloads and cheats on my sims game it slowed it down, so i think if you put too many downloads in the game it will have an impact on gameplay, could be whats causing it. |
