i'm computer retarded

how do i get a screen shot of something in a movie, i'm playing it thru windows media player and when i do the print screen thing, it blanks out the movie

pausing it and shit doesnt work, thats what im doing, it has a black screen where the movie should be

First pause the movie on a section you want to shot it then click print screen after that paste it in paint accessorise in start menu finally save it in a file.

It doesn't work. I've tried before too, unless there's a certain software or something for it.
