| I believe Maya works under Linux, although that's professional software and thus has a professional pricetag... |

Well, I can tell you one thing. You won't find any Excellent Quality Graphic Designing software for free. You will have to pay for the best if you want great results.
I disagree. I've produced plenty of great results without using comercial software. The fact is graphics require creativity and good technical execution. "Excellent Quality Graphic Designing software" can only help with the latter, and even in then a reasonably talented and dedicated person will do just fine with free software. Anyway, this is the easiest 3D modeler to use, free or otherwise. |

Well I'll tell ya I got mine from a guy in Starbucks for $50 via FireWire, Creative Suite 2 premium, plus other stuff.
I got the entire Creative Suite package for nothing. It was in no way against the law, or pirating software. |

Not what I'm looking for. I want something like Blender, which I just found. I think I'll use Blender. Looks pretty nice. |

Only dipshits pay for photoshop. Its 'Excellent Quality Graphic Designing software'. Buddy up there never said it had to be a legal way.
I will not say if I stole CS2 or bought it, as that would be against the rules, and the Nazi mods wouldn't like it. But I can guarantee you, I have never spent 600$ on a piece of software. |

I believe you to be wrong. With all of the people who believe in free software and such, there is bound to be something good. I already have Photoshop CS2 for Windows. But, sadly, there is no Linux version. |
