So, my computers, all three, hate me.

One is a PC with Xp pro, the other is a newer Laptop with Xp pro, and A Macbook pro. They all seem to want to mess up, at the same time, for the same thing.

I recorded a reinactment that I had done, on my video camera, a Canon, that had worked just days before. I got back home, and the device doesn't seem to be picking up the camera. Both the xps don't. So, today I get the Macbook home, and another camera, one that had been used earlier today for importing to a computer. We've also tried 3 different cables.

So, why in the bloody hell isn't my cameras and computers detecting eachother?!?!

Try going on to the cannon website and go to troubleshooting - its possible the drivers for the camera have fucked up.

Cheers.

Drivers are fine, my dad checked, and the other camera isn't a Canon, its a Kodak.

On second thought, that would be too rude and vulgar of me.

I may or may not fart on one of your computers next time I'm at your house...

It seems like a good idea to me...

I was getting ready to suggest doing that and put drivers on your computers. If that doesn't work... tell us and we'll try another option.

Sometimes that happens Its been happening with my kodak lately. What I usualy do is go to run, and type e:// and it opens. Or go to my computer, and click e://. If that aint working, maybe the camera software that gets installed when you first plug it in got deleted, so it wont connect. Try downloading new software for that camera
