Does anyone know the technical name for a headphone adapter with red/white connectors?

That is, one end fits in your average iPod/CD player, and the other end splits into a red and a white connector for audio input (surround sound, stereo systems).

I want to shop for one online but I can't get it to show up without knowing exactly what it's called.

The red/white connectors are usually referred to as Audio RCA jacks. So you'd be looking for an Audio RCA to 3.5mm (or 1/8 inch) cable.
