But I've looked into it some more, but it might actually be THE SHIT.

I was scanning e-bay for some, and there was this slightly used one for $400 with over 1,000 books on it, classics, theology, modern, etc.

Except it's $400.

Its cool in some ways; I mean, how else will you even get 1000 books for under $400?

But to me, a book just isnt a book without the cover and the pages. If I had a Kindle instead of a shelf of books, each with amazing individual cover art, slightly different fonts, some with pictures, some used that have writing on the pages, some with little ornate letters at the beginning of a chapter, etc, Id go crazy. Half of the joy of a book is the originality of the book, aethetically.

Therefore, with the kindle, you only get the other half of the joy- the story told.
