What is the best program to use to backup things on your iPhone?...mainly sms text messages and Notepad stuff.

I have things saved that I want to back up since I have to restore my phone but I don't know how. I've read about programs like PhoneView but I'm not sure how reliable that is.

As far as I know it is not possible to back up your sms messages and such. Unless some hacked thing or new app has come out.

Doesn't iTunes back it up for you?
