And retiring from my iPod nano 2nd gen I think (old pink one), I am thrilled I can now have MUSIC VIDEOS ON IT.

But however, I am

a) a cheapskate.
b) broke, since that last $10 iTunes certificate I have is being put toward downloading the iPhone 2.1 software update.

Is there any website that I can download music videos directly to my computer, in the correct format? I've Googled it, and all I can find is programs where you download the YouTube video and convert it, but I don't want a program. I really just want to click and download.

Points for someone that gives me a website that works.

You have to pay for the iphone software updates??

I just download the videos in any format and then I use a program called format factory to convert them. Many of the vids I want are hard to find in ipod format.

$9.95.

Just download the files like normal and get another program to convert them. It's not hard.. might take a bit of time to get a good program.. but once you've got that you're set.

I have an iPhone and have spent many hours looking for videos. But as the iPhone/iPod Touch take videos in the m4v format its pretty rare to come across videos ready to download. Well, any good videos anyway. Downloading conversion software to convert youtube/mp4 videos to m4v is the only way round I have found aside from downloading from itunes and paying for them.
