It's not bad, but it becomes a pain in the ass to type with the on screen touch keyboard. Whats your advice? Should i save up for a macbook pro? Would it be worth it? I currently have a toshiba laptop but the battery lasts for like 3 hrs and im bored with it. I am looking for a device with good battery, not too heavy to carry and feels sturdy..Also im a bit worried because on the receipt it says "any product purchased between 10/9 and 12/24 may be returned with receipt by 1/15/12. Package must be unopened and in resale condition".. mine is in good condition, i just dont like it as much as i thought i would :/ thanks!

They're not really useful for typing on. I would recommend a solid netbook / ultraportable / whatever buzzword marketing companies are using this week. I have a Lenovo x120e and am very happy with it, it gets around 5-7 hours of battery life (and charges pretty quick), it's an 11.6" inch screen so it's fairly portable, and can handle pretty much everything I need it to. I can even do light gaming on it. It's also a pretty good price at $450. Of course, like all laptops, you'll want to uninstall the bloatware it comes with or else it will feel slow. Theres an optional keyboard, but since this device is pretty new its also rare to find anything for it! Can you write papers, for example reseach papers well on your ipad? Know any good apps?
