Replies vitamin Posted at 2:11 am on Oct. 18, 2008 you need to be sure that your are being given an IP address. You may not have ipv6 address but you will have an Ipv4... Go to the run dialogue box and type cmd press ok... Then type the following into the Command prompt,.... ipconfig/all Now you should see an ip address let us know what you find.... cheeseball giver Posted at 1:43 am on Oct. 18, 2008 Thanks, I did the router thing you said up there a few times before, and it works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. But thank you! acausedelle Posted at 1:38 am on Oct. 18, 2008 Well, I am going to say this. Wireless routers can be stubborn at times. It may say that it is connected, but really it has no or a limited signal. If it says that it is limited, then it is limited, and it will not work. When my router acts up, I can just disable the router, and reconnect it to regain internet reception. If that does not work and your internet is still acting up, then restart your computer. That always does the trick for me, and it probably will work for you. All 3 previous replies displayed.
