So i just reinstalled Windows XP   since i couldnt get wireless internet using Linux. Now... for whatever the reason is... I still cant get wireless internet. It finds it, it attempts to connect to it... but it cant. When it tries, it says it cant authenticate. I looked it up, did what it said, and it comes back with "limited or no connection".

what do i do?

Ya--wifi card drivers (change around the settings). Also you may have the wrong password/authentication on your router. Using your wired connection, click here to access your router's web page. (it is located at 192.168.1.1 usually). From there, you can change passwords and settings, etc.

Your wifi card probably needs drivers. That can make them show local only. Or restarting the router you are trying to connect it. But in this case I think it is the lack of up to date drivers.
