I'm at my sister's house, and I'm currnetly using her laptop, because we can't find the password to her internet so I can use my laptop (which is much nicer).

So I'm wondering, is there anyway to get the internet password without calling the company provider, or looking at the papers they were given in relation to their service.

Thanks in advance.

Reset the router.

We've had to do that before because of connection problems, but her internet remains locked.  We even tried going to through the control panel on her computer and having the password shown, but it remained just a bunch of black dots.

Also, they don't have it saved anywhere..

1010101010
or used with 20 or 30, just play with it, i dont know much about computers.

The password to her wireless connection? Then yeah, just reset the router as above.

Reset the router.

Also, you may want to try "admin" for the username and/or the password. That's usually the default password to get into the router settings.

On Windows, go to start > run > cmd (Vista, open up a command prompt by going to start > and type cmd)

Then type "ipconfig /all" without quotes, and look for the default gateway. Copy it down, and type it into your internet browser.

You should be able to get to the router through this.
