From Dell's support site:

Download and Run the Sonic Isum_hotfix.exe File

  • Open a Web browser such as Windows® Internet Explorer®, and then click the following link: ISUM_hotfix.exe
  • In the File Download - Security Warning window, click Run.
  • In the Internet Explorer - Security Warning window, click Run.
  • In the Sonic - ISUM Hotfix Setup window, click Yes to install the hotfix.
  • When prompted to restart the computer, click Yes.

  • Download and install the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility. To do this, follow these steps:
  • Open a Web browser such as Internet Explorer, and then browse to the following article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base: "Description of the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility" Article ID: 290301.
  • In the More Information section of the article, click Download the Windows Installer CleanUp package now.
  • In the File Download - Security Warning window, click Run.
  • In the Internet Explorer - Security Warning window, click Run.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to install the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility.
  • Run the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility. To do this, click Start, point to All Programs, and then click Windows Installer Clean Up.
