My system: AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 3800+ 2GB RAM NVIDIA GeForece 7600 GT (256MB) Windows XP Home SP2
SupCom System Requirements 1.8 GHz processor 512 MB RAM 128 MB video RAM
I have already tried deleting the folder containing the videos to see if it would just skip them, but it causes the game to crash any time it attempts to access the videos. The movies are labeled as .sfd (??) files, I don't know what they actually are. I've run the game with min settings, max settings, it runs the same regardless. I tried give the app high priority from task manager to no avail. Should I download some additional codecs or some shit?
Is there anything else I could try to see if it would alleviate this problem?
that GPU really doesn't cut the mustard. I occasionally get lag with my 8800GTS during cutscenes, since fog of war is removed, massively increasing the RAM needed.
I <3 Supreme Commander. And try updating your Video Driver. Also asking this on the Supreme Commander Forum will yield better results.
Too lazy to register. And my video driver is the most recent. Hrmh.

Quote: from sykexl at 11:20 pm on Dec. 20, 2008 I suppose you could try and completely reinstall the game. Is it a legit copy? I've already reinstalled once (unrelated) and the problem persists. Yes it is a legitimate copy, but I couldn't find anything on either Microsoft's knowledge base about a similar issue of Gas Powered Game's tech thingy. "Please ensure you have the latest drivers" blah blah blah.
