Boot into safe mode by continuously pressing F8 while you are booting your computer. I'm not sure about windows 2000, but some versions of windows will automatically log you in as the administrator. Also, if you haven't changed the admin account at all it should still be username:admin password:password, that's usually standard. Besides, I am pretty sure your mom could not have deleted something to prevent you from logging in - perhaps accidentally changed the password?
