well i am having some problems putting videos onto to my video ipod classic.  i have put videos on it in the past, but for some reason these vids that i make wont go on it.  I am almost 100% sure that ipod takes .mp4 video files, which is m=what i put the video in.  But when i try and drag and drop it into the video folder, it doesn't work.  i think it gives me an error message but i'm sure.  what is another way to put video files into an ipod or another format i can use?

Also, for the Japanese titles for songs, it appears as boxes or question marks.  Before this, the japanese characters were fine.   I have tried installing the japanese pack from windows but it didn't work.  Also, when i go to japanese websites, the characters are fine.  So why is it only itunes.  is there any way to fix this?

Use this converter (Videora). It works great, is free, and resolves the likely problem--a video file that is not compatible with your specific iPod.

You should have quicktime installed on your computer if you have iTunes- if not, get it installed.

From my understanding, if it plays on quicktime, it should work with iTunes.

Also, try converting it into MPEG-4;

(I highly suggested actually downloading it instead of doing it through the site- it's much faster and easier to do that way)
