I don't know anyone yet who hasn't spent a little bit of time with the new interface and then decided it was really really good. I know a lot of people who hated it at first, then finally got it and then don't want to go back. It does take a little time to get used to, its a big change, but its a very very worthwhile change that makes office a lot easier to use.
For example, i love thats styles are now much simpler to use. This has always been a great feature in all word processing applications, but this is the first implementation thats different and works really well.
I get the feeling most of this is people who tried it for 5mins and decided it looked different and so was clearly bad...
Besides, my copy is illegal. Don't tell Microsoft
it's a little hard to get used to at first, but once you figure it out, it makes a lot of sense
But I've used it at school.
I hate it.
No. Open Office is superior.
i just downloaded it but i haven't got time to explore it yet
alot harder to find stuff if your used to the old one... its all organized into menus and shit its all fucked up
