I tried the free version of avast but I got confuzed with all the different controls and stuff.. does anyone know of a good free antivirus that is simple enough to use

Yes, if I had Windows I would use AVG. But I am on a Mac, and so I don't need antivirus protection! Win! :) (in b4 Mac fanboy fag)

The controls are very simple, use the built in help feature if it is too much for you.  Not too hard to tell it to scan computer, just a few clicks.

There is also AVG, but I like Avast more (works better for me).
