everyone switch to McAfee, i had nortan for the past 10 years and my computer still got messed up everyday, i just made the switch to mcafee and it is amazing, works so well, its got some sweet utilities to.  the only problem is the anti spam that they sell, dont get that it slows down your computer, i recommend just getting the McAfee security suite, but not installing the antispam.

I had Nortan AV for years and it worked fine, then one day it just died because of some trojan or somthing.

Since then i have had AVG + Zone Alarm and no problems.

But i might be willing to try McAfee if i can get a decent free download. (Bittorrent )

this is very interesting, i have norton and could say alomost exactly the same as you, but for norton. The products seem to work well for some but not others...it not very clear cut.
