Spybot and AVG wont do it, I don't know if 'Spyware Doctor' is a real program or not, and I'm so frustrated with this.

If and only if you are POSITIVE that you are infected with SmitFraud, download: http://siri.urz.free.fr/Fix/SmitfraudFix.zip
, extract to desktop

Please reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following :

  • Restart your computer
  • After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually;
  • Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu with options should appear;
  • Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode, then press "Enter".
  • Choose your usual account.
Once in Safe Mode, open the SmitfraudFix folder again and double-click smitfraudfix.cmd
Select option #2 - Clean by typing 2 and press "Enter" to delete infected files.

You will be prompted : "Registry cleaning - Do you want to clean the registry ?"; answer "Yes" by typing Y and press "Enter" in order to remove the Desktop background and clean registry keys associated with the infection.

The tool will now check if wininet.dll is infected. You may be prompted to replace the infected file (if found); answer "Yes" by typing Y and press "Enter".

The tool may need to restart your computer to finish the cleaning process; if it doesn't, please restart anyway into normal Windows.

Warning : running option #2 on a non infected computer will remove your Desktop background.

Have you tried another anti virus program like Avast?

download this: http://avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html

That is the free version of avast, once you have downloaded it, it will ask if you want to do a boot-up scan or something along those lines, i cannot remember if it updates or not but if you are unsure click restart later, then open up the avast program and click the arrow, then click updating  then click iAVS which will download updates. Once that has finished then restart your computer and it should start up the boot-up scan, this scan could take a while and you cannot do anything on your computer while it is scanning, if it finds a virus it will ask you if you want to move it to quarantine or delete it completely, i normally click delete completely so it gets rid of the virus. If the boot-up scan does no load then once your computer has started up again open avast, click the arrow click Schedule boot-time scan and then click schedule, then restart and it should do it.

You can also try:

an online scanner like the one below:

http://onecare.live.com/site/en-gb/default.htm

Click the protection scan as you are just looking for viruses at this moment.

Perhaps a spyware program will pick it up like

Ad-Aware 2008 Free Edition from Lavasoft:
