| Ashserv? that aint a virus i don't think.. i have it on my computer and as above above says.. i take it that it comes from Avast Anti Virus |

| ashserv.exe is part of the Avast Anti-virus Suite. This process is the main executable for this piece of software, and is important for the stable and secure running of your computer and should not be terminated. |

| Safe mode, and then run virus scan or even manually delete if you can locate it (file search including hidden files/folders). |

| It's an executable file. You can uninstall it/remove it yourself. Have you gone into your start menu under programs? All of the things I've managed to pick up like that have been listed in there, where I can uninstall them easily. |
