ok i have a virus on my computer and its gotten pretty bad. to the piont were we have no choice but to wipe out the whole computer. i need help on how to do this. so any advice would be great.

Depending on your OS / PC manufacturer, you may have to manually reformat and reload windows. Most new PC's such as HP, Dell, Packard Bell etc. have a "System Restore" function built in, whereby you reboot the PC, press a button (usually F10 - depends on PC make) and it will do it all for you  (reformat and reload). For others, you can create a boot CD or floppy, from which you can then format the disk and use it to load windows again. (AFAIK, XP on a CD uses the same CD as the boot disk and the OS loading CD). Don't forget that you will lose EVERYTING when you reformat so do make sure to backup files.

sounds more like spyware to me... try downloading spybot- search and destroy and run it to clean up your pc

go to run
type in cmd
then type /format or something of the nature... google it

its a hacker. it keeps getting into all my shit and downloading crap onto my desktop
