| If you like having software that does more to piss you off than a virus will, pick Norton. If you like having software that has a tendency to break your programs, pick McAffee. If you're sane, pick something else like Avast or ZoneAlarm. If you're not computer illiterate AND you're not using Windows, don't bother (aka Linux, FreeBSD, etc users) If you're not using Windows but ARE computer illiterate, stay off the computer. |

| Norton is to in-your-face and its a fore ground application the way I see it. McAfee is a lot more back ground and uses less system resources RAM, hard drive, CPU etc) |
