| hehe! easy one :). just boot your system into safe mode, do a virus scan that way, but you will need a virus scanner that will run in safe mode. or boot up into safe mode with networking (only in windows xp). and connect to the net, do an online scan @ http://housecall.trendmicro.com and remove all the viruses trojans what ever..., hopefully your using a router which will help protect you from hackers since you won't have a firewall up in safe mode... |

| I have to get rid of these viruses soon, AVG always scans the restore folder first but since it finds soo many viruses it freezes up and I can't scan anymore. Is there anyway to skip scanning the system restore folder so I can just scan the rest of the computer? |

if you can add me to MSN if you have it, then i would send you a program called stinger. It's an anti-virus package, it's quick and gets rid and fixes 99% of the problems. |
