I need help because I was on the internet a few days ago and then something told me I might have spyware on my computer I was slightly confused and then decided to stay off the computer for a few days but then I could no longer ignore it any longer =/. I asked a few of my friends for their ideas on this and they said ignore it,it could just be a pop up...Anyway I really want to go on msn but I don't want to incase someone gets the information I'll write in for the password bit..so yes..any help would be useful.
Thankyou...
P.s sorry if this is in the wrong forum...

Thanks people I don't think I have spyware on my computer anymore but I am going give it another scan tonight before I go bed just to make sure

Or try Spydefense and AD-Aware...Install them, update them, scan with them, remove the spywares and then uninstall them. You are then free of much spyware threats as of now.

A lot of times pop-ups come up from the internet, claiming that you have spyware, and try to sell you some cheapo crap spyware removing software.

Chances are, that was one of them.

If you feel that you need to scan and remove them, if there are any, I recommend Spybot S&D, it's free and reliable.

if it was in an internet explorer window, it was most likely ad advertisment pop up trying to trick you into thinking you have a spyware problem on your computer and make you buy their software.

dont worry, go on msn if you want. it will be fine =D
