| The best free anti-virus there is out there would have to be Avast. However AVG and Avast are capable to working together, so when one misses something the other will pick it up. But if you need free protection for your computer I recommend Avast Home Edition, as well as Zone Alarm Free Firewall. |

You can get a 90 day trial on Windows Live OneCare It's antivirus, antimalware, VERY good network firewall, works with vista and XP perfectly, defrags the hard drive weekly, removes temp files, and checks for windows updates let alone the programs updates. |
