Comodo firewall has a free version.  i don't use it, but I know a few people that do, and have no complaints about it.

Windows comes in with a built in firewall, you just have to turn it on, don't bother with crappy software versions.

Zone alarm free edition.. i dunno where to get it from.. but i have a version on this cd i got from pc gamer.. but i don't use it as my anti virus has one.
