Because of my brothers excessive porn watching, I have a Trojan (and the net-worm) on my computer. My dad and I have tried many removal programs and nothing removed it. SO, we're thinking of reformatting the computer.

Any tips on what I could do to remove it so I don't have to reformat this damn thing?

Edit: I have the trojan downloader, trojan spy, backdoor trojan, and the PSW trojan. :(

This is one time when you need to pull out even with a trojan.

Ok, back on topic.  Try booting into safe mode (hold F8 on Windows boot), then remove it.

If that fails try booting into a Linux Live-CD and deleting from there.  Since you have the filename, you probably have the location.

Go into safe mode and remove it.

boot your computer into safe mode and use msconfig to shut themdown (any programs that aren't supposed to be on the computer) then scan for that mess.

Uh... there are a lot of "trojan viruses"... I assume you've tried Norton, maybe give Kaspersky a try.

or google the name of the virus and get a removal kit
