I have a laptop now and i have about 2600 songs on my ipod classic, and i was wondering what the best way to transfer those songs onto the new computer and into itunes. Is there a program that works well, or can i just take them right off of the ipod hard drive. Thanks

make sure you can view hidden files on your laptop
then go to your ipods HD
and the folder that is hidden (but viewable)
is the one to open
then go to the music folder
and since you have like 2000+
there are going to be a bunch of folders
F01 ... F12 etc
open each
copy and paste (not a shortcut) files to folder on your laptop
