so I recently bought a really awesome custom apple macbook pro, ive had it 2 days. Im curious, if there an antivirus built in or something? or do I need to download additional software? Im such a mac noob :S

im gona get avast I think. seems pretty all round decent. ive used it v=before on windows, didnt realse they did a mac version.

It's always good to have virus protection. Luckily, most viruses infect PCs. It wouldn't hurt to have though.

Some companies that sell macs include it, but others don't, just really a matter of where. I'd suggest phoning them, asking them personally, but then again, macs are rather invincable, and get very few viruses, if any at all.
