You can use the program http://www.recuva.com" target="_top">Recuva to try to retrieve the file that you deleted.

Doesn't help.

You need yourself some undelete software. Unfortunately, as you have been using your system since the files were gone they have almost certainly been written over. That cuts out almost any bit of free software. At this point, given you continued to use your machine your probably looking at professional data recovery which is more than just expensive.

If you delete a file like that really you need to turn the machine off right then and take the hard-drive and add it to another machine and run the scanning software form there.
