I created an application that lets you take almost any image on your computer, drop it onto my application, and it is automatically hosted.

Video: http://ddb.ethryx.com/VideoPreview
Executable: http://www.ethryx.com/?grab=DragDropBear.exe

Requirements
- .NET Framework v2.0 or higher (most computers have this)

How to Use
Place the exe in an easily accessible location. Drag any image file and drop it onto the exe provided above. Once uploaded, the web browser will open to the image and the URL will be placed on the clipboard (so you can paste it with CTRL + V).

Restrictions
You can upload JPG, JPEG, BMP, PNG, and GIF. The files can be less than or equal to 2MB in size. There is no restriction on how many files you upload or maximum space.

Your Directory
A directory is automatically created for you using a unique hash when you upload your first image. You can view all of your uploaded pictures at: http://ddb.ethryx.com You can also view your directory by double-clicking the executable (without dragging an image over it).

Updated Again: There is now a nice little web interface that manages your images. You can also delete images within your own directory as long as your unique hash for your computer matches the directory you are viewing.

Update: Just to polish the application a little bit more, when you double-click the application (without dragging any images to it) it will now launch your directory in the browser. Also, it will give you a nice little error when you drag more than one file over it.

I'm getting an exception. Your server seems a bit wonky. Randomly not loading for me.

Updated: Uses hash's now instead of IP Addresses.

Nice job Ethryx!

Okay, I'll fix that so it uses a hash instead

That's pretty neat, man.

I'm not digging the IP as folder. It's nice and all, but simply looking at image properties can really cause risk.

Yeah it'd probably be better to use some sort of hash to hide the IP.
