Yeah, the problem was that the gap in your background was about 800 pixels wide, and the table layout Myspace uses ended up being a bit more than that, here -- I looked through the code a bit, but it's nigh incomprehensible to someone of my meager skill.

My solution is the non-techy one. Just stretch the background image out a bit.

I fixed it. Probably the stupidest + simple way too.

I saved the background photo, and cropped half of it about an inch over. Filled in the gap with black, and uploaded it into the CSS. Made the black space wider, and now it fits perfectly.

you you want it to cover all page or you want it complete center that it l ines with the options up top/  i really dont think you can fix that lol

I loath myspace's html. It's horrendous beyond anything I've ever seen before. I really wish they had decided to use xhtml and css to begin with.

It should be able to be done. From the looks of it all you need to do is increase the width of the class or id of what ever contains he home,favorites, browse, etc. You can try the .navbar class but no guarantees it will work. If you are using firefox you might be able to locate what class or id you need to define with the web-developer extension.
