I dont have any money for books, but i'd like to try writing programs for macs. any ideas of how to go about doing this? websites would be great, as well actual program suggestions. PM me if you have worthwhile info

Well.... I'm no expert on programming, but I'll try to help:
There are a couple of programming languages you could try. C++ and Java are the most commonly known ones. C++ is hard to learn though, and you'd seriously need to do a course in it. There are websites that help, but its hard to learn off them alone. Python is another programing language you could try, and my cousin says its easier than C++ to learn. You could try the book: Computer programing for dummies, but I think none of those books make sense anyway. You could google: Learn C++ or Learn Python and see what comes up. The only thing I've ever learned from google is html, and I'm USELESS at it
Seriously, the best way to learn a programing language is to do a course, and even though you have no money, you could wait for a while and save up. I'm not sure what works specificaly with Macs, but I think Python and C++ are universal.
