Right now i have a single flowmaster delta 40 that splits to 2 pipes straight out the back. Anyone know how much louder a replacing it with a single glass pack would be?
Im also curious if it would be louder to run 1 glasspack split to two pipes or run two glasspacks after it splits...

Lemme see if I can dig up the CFM ratings of the popular mufflers.

Hinshaw, whats up with you and flowmaster? Idk if you are right, but even if you are, the power difference is not significant. I doubt there is a 2% difference in power between a flowmaster, magnaflow, and cherry bomb.

I love Magnaflows, they sound amazing no matter what car they are on and they are extremely good performance wise.

It'll be a good bit louder.

And flowmasters blow in terms of performance. I'd rather just get a cherry bomb turbo muffler instead of that junk

 Magnaflow > Flowmaster

The place I went to that installed exhaust systems sold both Flowmaster and Magnaflow, but never recommended flowmaster because it sounded to poppy.

Flowmaster is a chokemaster. Shitty CFM flows

Since glass packs are pretty much flow through, I'd only guess they would be louder.  I would just search youtube videos to see what's louder.
