I averaged 31 MPG this week compared to my moms 30 in her tiny 2.0L Compact Citroen with 6 Speed auto.

She tends to use the brakes alot though as im the person who likes to keep my car rolling at all times to keep momentum

so basically this is how it rates up:

4 speed auto(commo) > 6 Speed Auto(C4)

3.8L V6 > 2.0L I4

1991 > 2007

150k miles > 10k miles

both around 2900lbs

Still i don't get how this happened

Oh and the cars in question:
(Holden Commodore)

(Citroen C4)

Its definitly in driving habbits, I've gotten better mileage in my V8 Sedan than someone I know in a V6, simply by how they drive compared to me.

The biggest factor is traffic and ways of driving. Thats likely HOW it happened
well she drives on the same roads as me, and about 90% of her driving is to work which is only a bit down the road from mine.

Driving habbits. Traffic conditions, etc etc. You may drive the same road but that means little
