Let's talk numbers.

Your average .. let's just go with a 2000 Cadillac. Gets 28-30 Miles per gallon on the highway.

Your average smart car gets 35 miles to the gallon on the highway.

The cadillac, in an accident has much larger crumple zones, effectively slowing down the accident on your body, where as the Smart, has a few inches, and BOOM. Which would you consider buying if both were the same price? Mind you, you are shopping for convenience, safety, features, and peace of mind.
Let's let the people of LW decide.

Just because it's bigger doesn't mean it's safer. Smart cars I believe are 4 star Euro NCAP which is one star off of 5 stars. So it's not just size that matters. And i'm sure a Smart gets more than that, I get a lot more from my Peugeot 106.

Some ones mad cause they didn't get their 4lbs of lard for breakfast?
I'm so close to finding out where you live at and showing up on your doorstep. I wouldn't hit you or touch you or inflict any harm upon you in any way shape or form.. and I'm sure .. just seeing me in person you'd scream like a little girl, and you'd SHIT BRICKS seeing me there, NOT selling girl scout cookies or asking if you wanna buy the latest fucking bible from your local church with fancy ass colors on it because you're gay, but because you'd know shit is about to get real.

Don't speak like that if you don't have nuts.. because one day, someone is and is going to flex nuts on you son.

Ninja edit:

you need to go somewhere else.

As long as the steps leading to my front door remain I feel pretty safe.

I doubt you could make it up more than 3.

Cars in Australia Can run on Natural Gas, so fail.

Only costs around $2.50 a gallon to fill up and lasts almost us much as normal gas.

" Your average smart car gets 35 miles to the gallon on the highway. "

What have they done to your american smart cars? In Canada, the standard smart gets 65-70MPG highway, and they're easily modified for 103 MPG

the epa rated the smart car at 41mpg highway and 33 city. The 2000 deville gets 15/25. The average miles driven per year is around 11,000, i think. With gas at 3.50 a gallon, the difference is only 855 a year, or 18 dollars a week. To me 18 dollars a week is worth being able to seat 5 (or 6?) passengers, not get killed in a crash, have a large trunk, have decent acceleration, and not look like a douchebag.
Not to mention, parts are probably expensive and hard to find for the smart car. Oh i almost missed it, the smart car requires premium gas.

  And punky, gtfo faggot.

OHHH, your smarts run on petrol? In Canada ours run on diesel.

It's called gas. Not petrol.

 Fucking British fag.

Right, but gas can mean petroleum, diesel, natural gas, or propane, and when you're discussing kinds of gas, you kind of have to use the real name. I still say 'gas station' or 'I have to get gas today.'

cars either run on Gas or Diesel.
