| I see it as much more pathetic than real world bullying on the part of the person actually doing it. Like Real World bullies they suffer from self confidence and other issues, but they are more pathetic in that they do it in an environment where they may never meet their victim. In light of the fact that cyber bullying it more emotional than it is physical I think it has more of a permanent psychological impact on the victim. And seeing as most people are not aware of the impact it has on people, it will continue. |

| People who whine about it should just do it right back. If you get hurt because someone who doesn't even have to balls to do it in person does something you need to grow up. Separate yourself from anything that could be turned against you and only an idiot would label you with it (sorry for 2nd person, easiest way of wording it). |

It's not nice, but I'd definitely take a cyber bully over a real bully any day. Shit, kids these days are terribly soft if they get upset over someone on the computer.
Is it not the same. it emotional bulling really. It not like someone calling you fat in a photo comment. it a reall problem. and the bully sometimes doesn't stop. emotional pain can last longer than physical
Forgive me if I'm not sympathetic to the plight of people who can actually escape their bullying situation by simply not turning on a computer. Those of us who've had serious situations outside of the computer will understand that luxury of just logging off. You can log off a computer and it stops - you can't log off your life.
just because you can avoid it means it's ok? Cyber bulling does not mean just internet, it also means phone, photoshoping somone and sending the pics to others, creating a fake internet profile, or even hacking theirs. It's not just a few nasty words on myspace
*shrug* It's better than being physically bullied and having dead animals nailed to your dormroom door. And yeah, some of that stuff's bad, but most of it is still quite avoidable, and no worse than having someone spread rumours about you, or write something in your name. I'm not saying it's okay, I don't think it is, but there's a lot of things that go on that aren't okay in this insane world. Cyber bullying certainly isn't the worst thing that happens to kids and teenagers. It's not the worst that happens, as far as bullying goes. |

| Its the internet. If you dont like it, get the fuck out of it. Its completely avoidable, and is not a real crime. There is no way in hell anyone could actually prosecute for it. |

It's the internet. Grow a pair. Anyone who gets cyberbullied is the one that subjected themselves to it in the first place. It's retarded to complain of cyberbullying. If you don't like it simply block the person doing it or stop using that site.
Exactly, sir. Seriously, how people can get so uptight when they actually have options to escape internet harassment is beyond me. Don't like the comments on your silly little MySpace page??? Well here's an idea: DELETE IT. Stop logging on! |
