Alright, so.. I had an odd, eventful day. Mainly having to have my mom call 911 for an ambulance for me, but yeah.. here goes.

I had just gotten ready, dressed, etc.. I was in my room, taking out my earrings, when I felt like I had a fever of about 110 degrees. In half a second, I was burning up like no other. Then, I felt tremendous pressure in my head. I was radiating so much heat, that I had to look in my mirror.. only to find that I was literally the colour of a tomato. I was beat red from head to toe. I continued out into my hallway, where I began to have trouble breathing, and felt as though my head was going to explode due to the combined heat and pressure. I got slightly dizzy, and continued downstairs, where I told my mom something was wrong.. and she dialed 911. I was advised to just sit down, and try and control my breathing. Still having troubles, the ambulance got here fast, where they found my blood pressure to be very high, and obviously my heart rate. My heart rate went down as they stayed here, and I began to feel better. Since I was stabilized, I decided not to go to the hospital.

They informed me that they thought it could have been a subconscious anxiety attack. I've never had something like this happen.. it was different. I thought I was going to pass out.

I didn't know anything about anxiety attacks, but apparently most of them happen subconsciously. I tend not to worry about things.. ever. Maybe it's all catching up with me...?

It's was different though. My boyfriend came over halfway through, to find the ambulance in my driveway, and me hooked up to machines laying on my couch... what a shock, hah.

Yeah, I'm thinking it was subconscious... for sure.

I really can't think of anything. I'm odd anyway.. things don't really bother me -- I just adapt easily to the change. I guess that is holding things in.. but not many things really, really, weigh on my mind. I could see that happening subconsciously though.. because I don't talk things out probably as much as I should. Even after this happened I didn't want to.. and people were waiting on me, and I didn't like it. My boyfriend was really worried when I kept wanting to do different things tonight.. and just said I was a trooper for it, haha. But.. hm. I want clear cut answers.. I hate that it isn't a black and white situation.

Ahk I hate anxiety attacks.
I seem to be a walking bundle of it though.

I'm glad you got through it alright and are okay now though :)

Yeah? Comparable to what I described?
I've never had something like this before.. I want to make sure that that's what it was. What happened the first time you got one?

  and thank you :)

Basically for me, my heart rate increases, blood sugar levels I believe drop, but blood pressure increases, I get light headed, my mind starts racing and I panic. I hyperventilate, and shake uncontrollably. And of course turn some interesting shades of red.
It usually goes away within minutes-an hour depending on who's with me and how they know to handle the situation.
Mine generally happen with reason (PTSD and Agoraphobia are my 2 most prominent).

I've also had some that were seemingly brought on by nothing, like yours.

Wow.. I hope this doesn't become a regular thing. Should an ambulance be called in the future if i experience these symptoms again? i thought i was going to pass out for sure.

Any idea why I would get them..? Could it be because I hold everything in.. and tend not to worry about things..?

I think it'd be best to see a psychiatrist in the future if it becomes a regular thing. I'm working on getting in to see one as it is, otherwise I've just tried to avoid situations where I know I'd panic.

I think the best thing to do is just to sit down, try to organize your thoughts and focus on regulating your breathing. Try to get to an area clear of anything you might hit if you were to pass out. Pretty much what they told you to do.

Can you think of anything bad that has happened (at any time in your life) that something recently could have reminded you of? That might have triggered it. Holding everything in as well could be a cause. Because the piling up of everything in your mind can cause stress without you even realizing it until something like that happens.

Panic attacks/Anxiety attacks suck. I get them all the time. They are scary as fucking hell.

Yeah.. it was odd. The part that really got me was how red I went -- it was crazy, literally comparable to a tomato.
