Did the speakers get disconnected somehow?
best idea is to check the back of ur tower to see if the speakers are plugged in

Install the audio sound card drviers. Whoever made the computer, such as dell, you need to get the drivers from their site. So google your comptuer make and model number and drivers

Example: Dell XPS 4500 drivers

And then when you find a driver list on their site, download the one that is for the sound or audio card.

Install, reboot, problem solved.
