And really I don't understand it. I can't help her cause I am so confused also. He really loves her and wants to be with her the rest of his life. But he thinks she needs someone better.And she really loves him more than anything. What should I tell her?

I don't think it's fair to tell her what to do, but you can help talk her through things. Ask her what she likes about him and what she doesn't like about him. It's nearly impossible to be in a relationship with someone who's insecure because pretty soon his jealously might start to flare up and he may become extremely needy. I'd warn her of these things and maybe she and him should talk. She should tell him that she loves him and doesn't want to go out with anyone else.
