I've been very stressed lately, and I'll wake up with pains in my chest. I'll also get them randomly throughout the day. Is this normal at all, or should I get it checked out?

Not normal.

Yes, it is.

If you go to the hospital, they'll simply tell you you're having stress induced stress pains. It's not serious, but I would have it checked out just in case it's something else.
