Replies txbball08 Posted at 6:19 pm on Jan. 7, 2009 I think Reid was just saying that there are three branches of gov't (checks and balances) and that he's saying in order to get things done that the exec and legislative branches will have to work together instead of having the President veto everything Congress passes or having Congress vote against anything the President wants to have passes.
