I mean, though the whole mental health system is a joke, isn't the whole idea that you go there to get BETTER? So, once you're better, if you committed a crime out of presumed INSANITY, why would you go to prison further for that crime? Maybe you should be WATCHED, but it makes no fucking sense to throw people in prison after they've become more sane. I mean seriously, it sounds like this is just based on revenge and fear more than any common sense. Once again, our justice system never fails to amaze me. It should at least aim for consistency, and this makes no fucking sense at all.

I mean, a lot of people bullshit their way out of a crime but claiming insanity, but if someone genuinely is at the time they commit a crime, then yeah.

Yeah it's seriously bull, if you commit a crime because you have schizophrenia and are found guilty but insane you should only have to get better, that was the whole concept of insanity in courts, that by being insane you weren't responsible for your actions and thus shouldn't be punished.

If I had it my way, the idiots who make this happen would be thrown in a fucking mental hospital.
